WHO ARE WE?
Lakeside Community Lutheran Church is a welcoming, accepting, forgiving, energetic congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).  We provide spiritual connection to God and neighbors near and far as well as warm friendship and family connections. LCLC is mission oriented, giving, caring, and teaches members to be "little Christs" and to reach out to neighbors in need.  We provide exciting and meaningful worship.

YOUTH GO FISHING WITH JESUS
On a recent Sunday Morning, Our youth acted out the story of the disciples fishing when Jesus appears.  Rather than fish, our youth caught candy.  What a sweet Sunday!

May Food Item of the Month:  VEGETABLES!

The May Food Item of the Month for the Yellow Lake Food Distribution is Vegetables!  Bring your cans to church during the month of May and place them in the bins near the Mailboxes.  Any and all help is appreciated.

ENDOWMENT UPDATE
Perhaps you have noticed the “Tree of Giving” in the narthex and the entrance to the church. The Tree of Eternal Gifts recognize donors of the Endowment Fund for their generosity. The Endowment Fund is a permanent, separate fund of Lakeside Community Lutheran Church that was established by the congregation in 1996.
The Endowment Fund Committee consists of seven members of Lakeside elected by the congregation to oversee the management and distribution of the invested funds according to the Fund’s By-Laws and Policies. This past year contributions were made to support Yellow Lake Food Distribution, Ruby’s Food Shelf, Luther Seminary, scholarships, special music, and a Ministry of the Month match to help a Lakeside family get a new well.
If you know of organizations or individuals that we can support, please contact a member of our committee.  Special offerings are taken in May to recognize Mother’s Day, and in November in recognition of All Saints Day; however, gifts of any amount are welcome, any time of the year. If you didn’t receive offering envelopes, you can note “Endowment” on a plain envelope or on your check, and it will get credited to the Fund. Please check out our brochure in the pew hymnal rack or learn “More About Us” on Lakeside’s website.
